You don't buy Battlefield for the single player/coop. The only two that I know of with SP is Bad Company and Bad Company 2, and both of their SP was lackluster at best. Why they even include it is a mystery to me.

Oh yeah, I'm aware about why you buy Battlefield games. Been buying them since 2002. My question was why demo that experience, right? Battlefield's multiplayer is a slam dunk, so I left scratching my head a bit.

In Topic: Halo Anniversary Multiplayer

Most popular gametype when I was running the booths at Fest was Zero Bloom, hands down - though we garnered plenty of smiles with the Anniversary mode. I thought I'd easily prefer Ridgeline (Timberland) and Battle Canyon (Beaver Creek) over Solitary (Prisoner) and Penance (Damnation) because they're big and outdoors, but I was wrong. Solitary and Penance are incrediby fun to play, particularly with 3v3 or 4v4. I don't think jetpack has as strong a hold as you'd think because there's not enough cover to let those players escape punishment for going vertical (yeah, went there), especially within a zero bloom/anniversary setting. Also, my favorite two maps were NOT present at Fest this year and they are AMAZING. That is all. :-)

Underwhelmed by the co-op demo at PAX on PS3. Not only did it look ugly, but it wasn't fun. I'm absolutely buying this game come launch, even if it's just for the multiplayer - I'm just a tad shocked they thought this co-op mision was meeting their expectation bar. Ghost Recon Future Soldier, however, was friggin awesome. (pop-in aside)

BF3, MW3, and the new Ghost Recon. I don't have to wish for the Gears or Halo stuff, but I'll be playing 'em fosho. Sadly, I don't have time for anything else. :-(
