Dual,

Looks like we are going to see Bungie's versions of Quarantine maps. I hope you and I can team up and fight the undead together tonight/tomorrow.

Edit:

By the way, "Quarantine" is the perfect name for a Halo Zombies playlist.

I'm going to have to take a break from my Metroid binge to play that.

Wait, wait, wait: has bungy changed the maps at all, or are they the bungy standard with their gametypes...?

"Q: Do the maps in Living Dead have the same set-ups that I am used to?

The Living Dead playlist will be the first to use Forge variants in Matchmaking. Lars [Bakken] and Dan [Miller] pulled out all the stops and Forged some masterful variants featuring fortified positions and anti-Zombie booby traps to help get people into the Zombie mind (which is to say, wanting to get into a Human?s mind. Directly.)"

^^ Ha! I'm so used to just skimming over assignments for class that I never take the time to read full interviews anymore. Thanks, Falkz0rz.

Man that only makes me think if I were only to have got my stuff out sooner, if they would have done those rather than this.

Man, if only there was a group of Halo 3 players who love Infection game types...I'm sure they're out there...how could we get them all online in one place to let them know about Dual's badass creations...

Maybe you should set up a website for infectionaries to get together and discuss this stuff. You could use tomorrow as a chance to add infectionaries to your friends list, then send them mass messages when you get the website going. That way, you can generate a dedicated fanbase to your favorite gametype with people who really enjoy it. Plus, those on this forum who, for some reason, are jealous of infection, can stop talking smack about all the attention it's getting.

That would be badass, but I just realized that I won't be able to make this tomorrow since I'll be at work. Damn...I wish this would happen the next night over.

Actually, I think I'm going to get a large group of people interested here shortly. I've been trying to get a some real games in so I could take pictures and make previews of each map. That way I could create a really thought out post on NeoGAF since that's where everyone seems to be at nowadays.

When you are all good to go, you can ( or one of us will do it for you) create a new thread on NeoGAF. You will get mucho publicity that way.

Thanks Falk0r. I'm still waiting to be verified by their staff, and I read that it takes awhile to do so, so if I don't have rights to make my own thread then I'll just make a big post here on AJ (even though I'll probably do it anyway) and then someone can just basically do a copy/pasta. Everyone wins. =)

EDIT: And for those interested, I have two previews up currently both from Guardian and Construct. I get two Killtactulars on Construct (I love the second one), and one on Guardian.

I also have a few more Quarantine related pictures in my screenshots although some of them didn't seem to upload onto the site.

I have a account on GAF, so if you can't wait or someone is available at the time, I can copy and pasta your message into a post/thread

I just remembered. You have to have Member status to create a thread on GAF. You gain Member after 150 Posts.

So someone from here is going to have to do it for you. I'll be happy to create it and then you can take the reigns of it.

Roger that. Do you really think I should wait until I have previews for every map or just make the pictures? EDIT: Should I just gather the rest of the pictures I have currently and then you guys have at it? I don't think I would be able to get a good set of pictures on some of the other maps anyway since I don't have the proper amount of people on them, and I don't think anything really interesting happened on them either.

The pictures should be good enough. They don't have to have people in them, some sweet pics of the fortification areas would be cool enough for now.

Ok. I'll go make those right quick, and when I return, I'll upload them to photobucket. EDIT: Can you guys help me with some descriptions for the maps? Like for High Ground I have: "One of the first zombie fortifications created to hold back the relentless undead. Is it strong enough?"

Screw the descriptions, I can worry about that later if that's even needed.

Everything is done. Tons of pictures, all four previews (two of the same map), and the updated gametype with all six completed maps so far.

I'll update the rest of the Quarantine information I want on GAF on the Forge topic.

EDIT: Keep me updated on what's happening on that topic, and make sure you post all of the pictures I put in the Forge thread just now. Some of the pictures didn't show up on Bnet as usual so I wasn't able to get more like I wanted. This should do though.

Yes. Only up to 4 people. It'll end up being 8 in the game. Sounds kind of small... Could I get someone to save some films of every map just so I can see what they did and how they play out?
