Not sure where I found it originally (thought it was here, but I don't see it), but I googled and found it hosted here:

I love that game so much.

Thanks for the epic wallpaper. =D

Seriously, every time I think about that game, I am filled with a sense of overwhelming awesomeness. Thanks, cocop. Your pic is alright, dual. But I think the Florida is a little stunted...

An almost two-years-dead thread getting resurrected?

You bet.

What tools or programs do you use to customize your desktop? I had XP, but now I have Windows 7, and none of the programs that I used work with 7.

Nothing. I used to use Rainmeter until I realized it was useless resource-hogging shit.

That's just Windows 7 with the taskbar on top of the screen and small icons enabled. I hate putting shit on my desktop, so I just have a "desktop" folder in My Documents that I use like one would normally use a desktop.

I've messed around on and off tonight and here's what I've ended up with so far.

You can change the color of the Aero Glass, by the way. Right click the desktop, go to personalize, and hit Window Color at the bottom. Then select a color closest to your wallpaper and adjust the opacity accordingly.

Thanks... I would have never thought of that. Looks much better now!

EDIT: The weather, date, and time widgets that Cocop has on his desktop... is that Rainmeter?

Yeah. I used to use the clock he has.

I'll tell you right now though, it's a pain in the ass and not worth it.

I know you said it was a resource hog. Are there any other issues to be aware of?

EDIT: Nevermind... I found a gadget that close enough for me. Thanks for all the advice.

Another one I'd recommend is Fences. It's basically a recreation of Mac's old Launcher. Keeps things nice and out of sight as well.
I rate this post/Drew.

Once I got going I couldn't stop. It was tempting to load up on a bunch of crap, but kept it nice and simple.
