Yeah, the internet is all lies, there are absolutely no facts on it at all.

Thanks for the reminder!

Has nothing to do with the internet being fictitious. It has more to do with subject matter actually being written about by people who professionally work with VR for a living, rather than a bunch of people on the internet that yell "NUH UH I KNOW BETTER" on the weekends.

There are plenty of reliable sources of information online about VR, including, but not limited to, the Rift developer forums. Just because it's a forum doesn't mean it's an invalid source of information. And it's not like forums are the only thing I read, you know. I learned more about programming online than I ever did in the several courses that I took at college. A course or textbook isn't the be-all-end-all of knowledge.

Never did I say they were Drew. I'm saying if you had up to date information instead of fanciful wishing you'd understand what you're saying doesn't make any sense. Of course it'll happen sometime. But in the next 5-7 years for a consumer level product? No way. I know it's what you want to happen, and hell, I do too. But it's unrealistic.

Yknow what? I started to type a long coherent argument about tech trickle down and such. But I'm tired of these types of arguments. When home displays of 4k reach the $800 price point for a moderate display, then you'll start seeing it migrate to cheaper and niche sectors. Were a few years from the former, and it will then take longer to migrate.

Still no option to run around the maps by yourself. I'm going to have to resort to buying another copy of this game for a different account in order to run a private match between my PC and laptop just so that I can have fun with the parkour. "The power of the cloud."

You sure you can't just do it in a private match? I really thought you could.

You have to have at least two players to start a private match.

Holy crap.  I might have to pick up that season pass, then.  Already bought the first map pack, but for $8.25?  Yeah, I'll jump on the other 2.
