Sounds like poor logic to me. What about the cutscenes?

Ah, fresh gameplay. That doesn't come along very often. The blue skies remind me of a Sega game for some reason. I've always favored DICE, after their awesome Rallisport Challange games. First EA game I buy, ever?

Dunno, if you guys heard, but Mirror's Edge isn't going to be an open world game. Which is a real shame, running and jumping about looks like so much fun, I've got the feeling that I'd prefer that rather than just doing missions. Still very much looking forward to it though. PS The singing reminded me of Frou Frou/Imogen Heap... PPS You can download the HD version at gamevideos.com.

Wow, this game looks awesome. It could use some kickass music though.

Wow, I have to buy this game. Playing without using a gun actually sounds really fun and would make the game much more challenging. The storyline is also sort of cool, too. There's at least 5 games coming out this year that I want to buy, where will I find the money?

I tried the demo. It's a bit short, but pleasing. I had some fun with it, I'll rent it and blast through it.

Played the demo. What a fresh-feeling game this is. Being cash-strapped like many this holiday season, and with so many other AAA games coming out, I won't be buying this. But I wish I could. Maybe I'll ask for this for Xmas. It's really something different that I'd like to see more of. It art style and blue skies make this feel very Sega-like somehow. Anyon know if this is more open-world, like Crackdown, or are your paths to objectives limited?

There was very little exploration available in the demo, but you got glimpses of a living, if sterilized, city.

It is not a wide open city like Crackdown - each level is very much self-contained and limited to keep the action tight, compelling, and cohesive. I also really enjoyed the demo, and I love the fact that EA is publishing such innovative titles (Mirror's Edge, Dead Space, Left 4 Dead) these days. I'd love to play through all three this holiday season, but the dead president supply is extremely short at the moment... In the end, Mirror's Edge and Dead Space are going to end up being the sort of games I pick up after a price drop or rent (an exclusively single player experience isn't going to change a whole lot while I wait, you know?) and Left 4 Dead will only be a compelling purchase if I can play it split screen right now, since I'm rarely able to get on Live these days. Do any of you know if L4D offers split screen play?

2-player split screen on console.

Edit: Didn't see Blaze's post.

Anyone seen the trailer for the PC version yet? It's one of the first games I've seen where nVidia PhysX actually makes a visible difference. Shame I already have the PS3 version... although, I don't know how the controls would stand up on the PC.
