If the Scorpion/Wraith is now a 2 person vehicle, I wonder if the driver gets the MG and the other person fires the main cannon, or if its stays basically the same, but the second person gets a heavy MG.

Either way, Voc and Sharpe can now let their powers combine.

There's probably a special spot where a person can enter and gun, IF they tanks have become two person vehicles.

There may be some surprises about the M6D, both good and bad, that hasn't been released.

Blaze, can you cap those images of vehicles/weapons.

Voc, do you "know" something we don't? Seeing as how you're on the "inside" now, I'm going to have to go with.. yes.

I've already capped all the weapons and vehicles. If you want all the characters, I can do that after I get home later tonight.

I need to cap images for h3da. The ones I have are lackluster, but I don't like capping from in-game or cutscene footage. These will work perfectly. Blaze, Characters? Yes, please. Should we do some of your fancy forerunner framing?

Pistol info is wrong in one regard. Not scoped in H3. Ninjas have been assigned.

I'm actually rather glad about that. It helps distinguish the pistol from the battle rifle.

Oh SNAP! Cuse, find a happy place, find a happy place! Seriously though, I would have liked a scoped M6D if it was placed on the map and not a default weapon. There's no reason why it couldn't be scoped in SP, except maybe for consistancy.

Seeing as there's no Fuel Rod Gun, Banshee w/ FRG, or Sword w/ a battery in Halo 2's multiplayer, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a scoped M6D for campaign even if it does seem unlikely.

I agree. A scoped M6D wouldn't be overpowered if it were rare(er) on MP maps. And it had 8 rounds. And 'Cuse couldn't use it. Ever. P.S. A Scorpion that is able to shoot two(2)(II) directions at once would be a bitch to assault. An awesome bitch.

That's true. And it brings me to something that bothered me about H2 multiplayer over H:PC multiplayer. Bungie thinks some pretty fun aspects of H:PC's multiplayer shouldn't be in Multiplayer for "balance," like the Banshee's FRG, the handheld FRG, flamethrower. So, you didn't find them in H2's multiplayer. Granted, they were super powerful, but with all the options of H3, why not give us the option to cut them out if we don't like them? Why the need to be so stingy with MP options?

Oh SNAP!

Cuse, find a happy place, find a happy place!

Silly Valor, I've long since reconciled myself with the 8 shot clip and the lack of a zoom. My happy places include: Valhalla, High Ground, Forerunner, and Compound.

No mention of any Human flying ships or anything. Saving that for closer to when the real game comes out.

What pissed me off about the FRG being left out was because Bungie said it was "overpowered" yet they had no qualms about giving the SPNKR homing capabilities in addition to its already incredible splash/base damage. The FRG meanwhile, had decreased damage and had a considerable arc to its shots. The only thing overpowered about it was the amount of ammo that could be carried, which could've easily been cut down for MP.

I'd rather just have the M6D unaltered and only used as a custom weapon. I don't see why Bungie has to be so anal about it.

I agree, Kinetic. Of course, they said that in 2004, before they realized how broken the game's so-called "balance" truly was. In my opinion, the fuel rod gun/cannon should have had 15 rounds total, instead of 30. Given what we know now (*homing rockets*cough*broken auto-aim & magnetism*cough*lunges*cough*) :yucky: such a statement is simply hypocrisy. Hopefully all of these have solved or significantly addressed, and given all the equipment, anti-vehicle weapons, etc., they should put in a fuel rod gun/cannon that arcs as much as Halo 1/PC one does, and carries 15 rounds max or 3 clips of 5 each; problem solved. But I doubt it, just like I doubt that there is a human Banshee counter that is controllable by the player in both campaign and MP.

Some observations;

"Cortana is the highly advanced AI (UNSC's most sophisticated)..."

Why would they specifically state the UNSC? Are there more advanced AI's out there? And then they go on to talk about the PoA, so maybe I'm just chasing shadows here.

Why does Johnson look like he's wearing a Mark V?

The marines appeared to have returned to their classic armor, the stuff they wore in Halo 1.

Humans have been all but exterminated. Earth has been completely occupied by the Covenant. (Little hope of recovery?)

The site references multiple Warthogs, leading me to believe, for the second time in the past four years, that there will be more than the variants we've already seen.

Banshee looks really sleek.

So does the Ghost.

And the turrets that everyone else already mentioned.
