I don't typically watch television, but I got my hands on both Season One and Season Two of this show just a few weeks ago and I can't wait for tomorrow's first episode of Season Three. I'm digging it. Any other takers?

It's pretty much the only TV show I watch. You're kind of late to the party though.

I'd recommend renting both seasons Ivan. They've got 23 to 24 episodes a piece and definitely DVR the first six of Season Three (which they're going to play starting tomorrow). There will be a break till February where the remaining 17 episodes will air. I think this show and The Office are the only two shows on network television worth anything. If more people like the show, maybe we can talk theories (there's not another show I've seen that has many as this one)...we'd have to put a spoiler tag on it, of course...

I've watched a bit of it, though I can't really keep up with it since I work when it's on, but it is one of the few shows I enjoy on TV

I've always been interested in this show (The Office too), but I find it impossible to try and be at a certain place at the same time every week. It would be nice if they made the episode available to download over the internet or something if you missed it that week (I don't have TiVo either). That's why the only shows I've ever been able to get into are the ones on MTV (Laguna Beach, Two-A-Days, Road Rules/Real World), because they re-run episodes about a hundred times each week. I guess I'll have to go out and rent the DVD's; which is what I've done with Alias, The Sopranos, and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Alright, so after the series premiere, I'd like to hear what any fans thought of the first show... I thought it was pretty solid with one hell of an opening sequence, but I felt like it lacked the Lost vibe from the previous episodes. For the people who watch the show, I've changed the title to include theory speculation...since it looks like there are a few of you here. So, what is everyone's take on the Hanso Foundation, the Dharma Initiative, the "smoke-monster," and The Others? I've got a few theories myself, but I'd like to hear what everyone else is thinking first...

Corrected. It was late and I was tired. Why are you apologizing and since when do we have ladies here?

 Mr. Voc, you are 100% correct by saying it was one hell of a opener. I would have never thought that the Others lived normal lives on the Island. For the users on this board who have not been able to catch the seasons I am telling you its worth every penny. Start with season one. You guys can't go wrong. For you Lost Fans you have to check out www.spawn.com. Todd McFarlene did the figures for the show and they look incredible.

"I've been on this island my whole life." Ben is one of my favorite characters in television history. He's just plain bad ass. This episode was much better than the last one, but next week, Locke is back...the real Locke.

:bunny: Locke is back and he is not stopping until he finds Mr. Eko! OMG LOL!!! This episode was a great one. I can't wait to see what happens next. I guess if we are patient and cooperate Ben aka Henry Gale will take is to the promise land. You have to see Lost to understand my jibberish. Until next Wednesday... :woot:

You seem pretty damn excited about it. I just watched that episode again with the wife and I have to say that the last closing few minutes between Linus and Shepard are the best in the entire series. Next week's "reawakening" for Locke should be pretty tight as well. Hopefully, he makes amends for some of the vagina-ness of Season 2.
