Sorry, I thought you would notice the move. I should have pm'd you. I'm sure you will find it is a Halo Universe topic and not Halo Reach specific.

How does Virginians look at West Virginians?

Very carefully. Virginians are snotty liberal taints. West Virginians are God-fearing, gun-toting, salt 'o the Earth coal mining people.

Amen.

Looks like the space area on Anchor 9 is bigger than it appeared initially. At least, seems like you can go a ways out. Also, fucking Tempest why does it look so good.

I downloaded the maps tonight and played around in the DLC only hopper.

Anchor 9 seems like it'll be a halfway decent map, but they need to limit it to 4v4. The grab bag has it at 6v6. It's way too small to have 12 people running around. I also seem to be running into a lot of armor lock glitches on this map.

I didn't play on Tempest enough to form much of an opinion yet. I seem to have a problem getting myself oriented without looking into the skybox.

Breakpoint. Ho-ly gods. What an amazing map. There's just so much... it's just so huge...

I think the maps play well. Stockpile on anchor 9 was awsome, multiflag on tempest was great, and breakpoint is alright, I don't like any other gametype than slayer for it.

I think this is the best map pack since Halo 2. All 3 maps are very high quality in terms of gameplay and visuals. The 3 maps are also each very versatile and work with many different things. For example, flag games are actually a blast on Breakpoint as opposed to the other Invasion maps where anything but Invasion sucks. I think this is a verdict on what a shitty idea it was for Bungie to have built the maps from Campaign spaces. If they had made dedicated maps maybe we'd be much better off with selection right now. All in all though, we're in a much better place now than we were with Halo 3 this far in.

I'd have to disagree with that last statement. All the on-disc maps for Halo 3 were good. Reach's on-disc maps are uninspired and broken.

Yeah, you tell him! Reach will never REACH the dizzying heights of Isolation, Narrows, Epitaph and Snowbound.

Shame on you Ivan. Shame on your house.

Halo 2 is still the best and I don't care what anyone says. Nothing is going to beat the original Coagulation. Also Relic and Turf. Those were some of my favorite maps.

I dunno... something about Hemorrhage just doesn't cut it for me. I think it's purely an aesthetic thing. I don't know if it's because of the look of the map, the size as readjusted to Reach's gameplay, or something else... but it just doesn't have as much class as it used to. It's too generic. Also, Coagulation will always be the original in my mind because I played H2 multiplayer before I went back and played Halo: CE. Call it a loss if you want...

I was referring to your inference of Coagulation being original.
