Time for a new version of an old favorite. I'm sure I'll be the majority contributor to this thread, but I hope you guys enjoy some of the videos I dig up.

Check out this trailer for Eve of War. Holy crap. Watch that first snipe closely, by the way.

Ok, I talked it over with Drew and he is willing to record the material you guys have in order for us to make a clan type montage. All you have to do is send your top 5 moments to Ascendant Space. We'll see how many of you actually want in and then we'll go from there. Should we need more material, make sure you have more of those moments ready to go. Also, I want everyone that is going to participate in this to post here and tell us which moments you are going to enter.

Hey guys, I'd also like to drop a note here. If you want something recorded from a specific angle, please do so in the clip you take. I wasn't there so I don't know how you wanted it to be viewed. If you're going to upload a long video, please specify as to what parts of it you want recorded. Thanks!

The only good clip I have is of my Killimanjaro. The rest are either not that impressive or just some 6-9 second clips of me sticking somebody.

Drew, thanks for doing this. This could turn out to be an awesome montage, since our clan doesn't just play MLG gametypes, but also plays crazy Big Team games and whatnot. A few capture pointers: Make sure to remove the time, name, and tool bars from the screen (press B until the screen looks normal) before capturing clips. It looks really unprofessional when those things are included in montages. Also, for clips that people want recorded in first person, it's a good idea to capture them with the reticle. To do so, hold R very lightly as the film is loading. When it starts, release R and it will be paused right around the first frame. Press Y-Y then click the thumbstick and you'll be in the person's first person view, complete with reticle (for whatever reason, Clips recorded in first person have this aspect of the HUD removed), which also makes montage clips look better. Also, the announcer only announces all of the medals the first time through a film. If you mess up capturing a clip, it's a good idea to exit the film then restart it from the lobby, so that the medal scripting gets restarted. If you rewind at any time within the Theater, you are no longer guaranteed to hear all of the kill announcements.

Here are the three files that I'd like to contribute so far - they're up in my File Share now.
"Sick Trip Mine" Please capture it from the angle I pre-recorded.
"Dirty TK" Just first person please, starting at 00:04.
"Where's the D?" Start capturing at 00:15. I'd like it from both the angle I pre-recorded and first person, if you don't mind.

I may post some music ideas later to see what you guys think...

I also want you guys to post some funny instances that has happened in your games. We'll have those in the credits in the same manner of my montage. I suppose we should talk about what song should go into this, and we need to know who exactly here would be the expert in doing the spot on moments along with the music (we need a good video editor). If we can't find one, I'll be willing to do it again with another program.

I've got a rather humorous moment where, on Standoff, I go to throw a plasma at some guys by camo when Coco and Valor, propelled by an enemy grenade, go flying across my screen and catch my grenade mid-flight.
