In Topic: m cheifs cumpilation

There's not enough information about this to be excited for it yet. Halo 2 Anniversary is basically a guarantee, but I can't think of how it would logically fit inside this cumpilation. A single disk containing a Halo 1 Anniversary port, Halo 2 Anniversary, a Halo 3 port, and a Halo 4 port probably makes the most sense, but where does that leave H1A's Reach multiplayer if Reach isn't included? Do they just cut it completely so that Halo 1 Anniversary 2 is just the campaign? Could they re-add Halo 1's original offline multiplayer? Do Halo 3 and Halo 4 keep their online multiplayers? Wouldn't that detract from the significance of Halo 2 Anniversary? Will Cocop ruin this too? So many questions...

If we weren't in the darkest timeline, this thing would be:

  • Halo 1 Anniversary Redux with original multiplayer rebuilt for online functionality
  • Halo 2 Anniversary with original multiplayer + all DLC, online co-op, and modern grafixx
  • Halo 3 port with clean faces mod
  • Halo 3 ODST port
  • Halo Reach port because apparently one person liked this game
  • Halo 4 port that is just an animated slideshow of m cheif and Cortana fanart with this playing in the background
All running at 1080p/60fps. And the entire thing would also be on PC with full Steamworks support. That's the universe I want to live in.

Had to catch up on Nintendo.
  • Daemon X Machina. Trailer. Japanese robits.
  • Super Mario Party. Trailer. October 2018.
  • Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu & Let's Go Eevee. Interview + Gameplay. Announced a little while ago. They're sort of Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow remakes, but not really. They're sort of mainline Pokemon RPGs, but not really. There are some pretty heavy Pokemon Go influences, which have made an already incredibly easy and streamlined series even more streamlined. Whatever. A real Pokemon RPG is coming in 2019.
  • Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Trailer. Spring 2019.
  • Fortnite is now available on Switch.
  • Hollow Knight now available on Switch.
  • Minecraft, Dragon Ball Fighter Z, Captain Toad, Crash Bandicoot Trilogy, Ark Survival Evolved, Wasteland 2, Dark Souls Remastered, Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, Wolfenstein 2, Paladins, Mario Tennis Aces, and more are coming to Switch.
  • Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. Overview. Has literally every Smash Bros character that has ever been in a Smash game.

PC Gaming Show
  • Satisfactory. FPS open-world factory building sim with a pretty great trailer.
  • Warframe is still going strong. Some other loot-based co-op action RPGs could learn a thing or two from it.
  • A bunch of Sega games coming to Steam. Yakuza 0 ($20), Yakuza Kiwami, Shenmue I & II, Valkyria Chronicles 4, some other anime stuff.
  • Man Eater. Trailer. Open world action RPG where you play as a shark and eat people's butts.
  • Jurassic World Evolution. Jeff Goldblum Trailer.
  • Sable. Gameplay trailer. Open world exploration game with a nice art style.
  • Star Citizen. Trailer. The game that wants you to spread your wallet's cheeks wide open is now in Alpha 3.something. Coming 2029 maybe.
  • Genesis Alpha One. Trailer. Explore the galaxy. Build your ship. Capture alien creatures. Splice their DNA into your crew members to increase their abilities.
  • Overkill's The Walking Dead. Gameplay trailer. Basically Left 4 Dead.
  • Two Point Hospital. Gameplay trailer. Basically Theme Hospital.
  • Ooblets. New trailer. Jolly.
  • Cyanide & Happiness battle royale. Trailer.
  • Hitman 2. Miami gameplay trailer. Nov 13, 2018. I'm very happy this sequel exists.
In before the deftech mehs.

Ubisoft
  • Ubisoft opens their dumb conference with their classic stupid shit (Just Dance).
  • Beyond Good & Evil 2. Another CG cinematic trailer. Pre-alpha gameplay. Can be played solo or co-op. I predict this is a 2021 next gen game.
  • Trials Rising. Gameplay trailer. Switch/PS4/Xbone/PC. Feb 2019.
  • Mario Rabbids DLC. Dankey Kang.
  • Skull & Bones. Gameplay. 2019.
  • Transference. Ubisoft. Elijah Wood. Full motion video. Whut.
  • Starlink. Gameplay trailer. No Man's Toys. Also, it has Star Fox in it because why not.
  • For Honor free on uplay June 11 - 18. Wasn't paying enough attention to know if this is a free trial or what. New faction. New Castle Siege mode.
  • Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Gameplay. Greece. Spartans. Can play as male or female. Dialogue choices. No release date, but we're probably back to yearly AC releases.
Not a lot to that conference unless you're super into the Division or Mario Rabbids or Skull & Bones. No Splinter Cell announcement. No new IP (something Ubisoft typically likes to do at the end of their E3 conferences). Assassin's Creed really seems to be shying away from the whole "assassin's" thing, yet is still too afraid to shy completely away from the modern day animus bullshit. These recent AC games have also been going full-blown RPG/game-ification. Lots of HUD elements, loot, ability trees, numbers popping off enemies, loot, magical cooldown abilities, health bars, experience points, leveling up, looooot. Apparently Assassin's Creed Origins was really good or whatever, so I guess this is the right direction.
