An informative article. Is there any real content in Germany or Japan worth downloading right now?

I have a Japanese account, and there?s some trailers and so on. There will be a 99 Nights demo coming out soon. It was my main reason for doing this.

Live Arcade Gets Five More

Defender, Paperboy and other classics head to Xbox Live Arcade.

While Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved has provided something of a shadow over the rest of the games on Xbox Live Arcade, if you look just a bit under the surface you'll find a group of classic Midway titles like Gauntlet and Smash T.V. doing well and making gamers happy with online play added. And now, Midway is ready to add a new bunch of titles to the service, with Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Cyberball, Root Beer Tapper, Paperboy and Defender on the way.

Given the many Midway Arcade Treasures compilation titles released over the past few years, in a sense the company is competing with itself by allowing customers to buy just the classic games they want instead of a pack of games, some of which they may not be interested in. But assuming these games perform well, we expect to see a plethora of classic games show up on Live Arcade soon.

No specific release dates have been announced for these five titles.

Midway announced at its Pulse 2006 event that it plans to bring five more classics games to Xbox 360 owners via Xbox Live Arcade. Following the sucess of Gauntlet, Joust, Robotron: 2084, and Smash TV, now Midway plans to release Cyberball, Defender, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Paper Boy and Root Beer Tapper before the end of the year. mmmm....root beer.

Here's a good one: Starcraft. I'd pay money to have that on my 360.

Trust me, unless they make a mouse and keyboard for the 360, you don't want any RTS on a console...ever...

Actually they already have. They made StarCraft and the original Command & Conquer for the N64.

USB keyboard and mouse. That?s if the developers allow you to use it.

I know, and it was a mistake. They also put out Warcraft 2 on PS.

Sweet...

If Major Hayes buys that and rapes us all, meaning he takes first place in MLG FFA two times in a row with h00ters, Gamble, Van, Dual, Syracuse, Sharpe, Supa, Blaze, and myself; I'll pay for the thing plus I'll give Major and mattacus twenty bucks each.
