10:30 Mountain Time indeed, eh, Van?
No Pants Time indeed, eh?
That pic from your secret stash?
I read the Infinite Succor and the Armor Testing story.
Is the Supreme Commander (the guy dressed in purple cape and hat) the Arbiter?
I didn't really like the way the flood looked in the Infinite Succor story; I would have never known that was the flood without the dialog. The story was decent, but I kind of wanted a story that was about the MC, and did anyone else find it mildly odd when the Spec Ops commader bodyslammed the prophet guy?
The armor testing story was short, and I liked the art aight. The story seemed kind of out of sync with the Halo universe. Like the fact that the chick spartan would never be able to retire to start a family. The military would so own her ass; plus you'd think some of the things they did to the Spartans (cybernetic enhancements, steroids, etc) would basically remove the ability to procreate. Not to mention the fact that she would have been raised by the military her whole life, basically brainwashed to the point that I can't imagine a Spartan wanting to live a civilian life (the Spartans sense of duty and their need to be in combat to feel comfortable is a major theme in the books).
