I guess no one else shares my excitement to get home and play the sequel to the best game ever made.

Already completed it :D It gets so hard in the last few areas, to the point that I was actually doubting some were possible.

Will be asking for this for my birthday. Maybe I'll ask for Dead Space 2 as well.

I hear amazing things so far about this game. I may have to get around to playing the first one. What is the difference between the Portal on The Orange Box and Portal Still Alive in the Arcade?

The main game is the same, Still Alive just has some bonus levels attached.
I rate this post/Drew.

Is it worth getting Still Alive or should I just stick with Orange Box.

If you havent played Half Life 2 yet then definitely get Orange Box. It's probably cheaper and the add ons for Still Alive are skippable to be honest.

It's waiting for me at home I hope, tried the amazon pre-order with drop date delivery for 99 cents extra, but I am being a loser and being responsible and productive-ish. Ivan, the first one seriously was one of my favorite games. Obviously not the best game ever made, Miner 2049er, but stop whatever you are doing right now and play it, cuz it's way more fun than that.

IIRC, Still Alive includes the full game plus reworks many puzzles and makes them harder. If you don't own the Orange Box already, get it and consider Still Alive afterwords. Half Life 2 along with Episodes 1 and 2 are very much worth playing as well. Also, consider that vanilla Portal 1 takes about 4 hours to complete if you've never played it before. Sadly, I'll probably wait to get Portal 2 during a steam sale around Christmas time. My backlog is big enough as it is.

Amazon pre-ordered was awesome BTW. $55 for the game plus $1 to receive on release date (don't know when it got here but it was waiting at my door at 5 when I got home), and you don't pay tax.

I was going to buy it later in the week due to tests. Then, ended up watching one of my friends play through the entire game because I kept saying to myself, "Just one more level." I done goofed.

Pretty certain that these are the extra maps included in Still Alive, all free and legal.

Because I'm poor. Also, because I have a metric fuck-ton of shit to do.
