I was on Apple.com today looking at some new movie trailers. The best one I saw was for the movie Jarhead. So I made this thread for new trailers or old ones that you would like to post.

This movie is playing now and should be watched by everyone here. This movie is so damn funny.
Waiting...

Another movie I'm interested in.
A History of Violence.

If you haven't seen the first then you better do so now.
Saw 2

For those of you who haven't received the chance in order to see this in theaters will have to wait for it on DVD now.
Batman Begins
War of the Worlds

Absoloutely DO NOT WATCH "A History of Violence" because it really sucks. It is the slowest moving and most pointless disappointing movie I've ever seen.

I didn't like War of the Worlds. Independence Day still holds it down like a pimp.

Jarhead looks sweet. War of the Worlds was good, but I also think Independence Day is the king of alien invasion movies.

War of the Worlds was only good in a historical sense. It captured the old radio show and the book fairly well. The reason that the movie sucked was based on the fact that the story is poor by modern standards. For an alien invasion story of the times, however, it was good.

That is true. I remember my dad telling me that H.G. Wells had people so convinced over the radio that people actually started loading their rifles and preparing for an invasion.

Up that. Try cases of suicide. People killing themselves rather than getting burned by the heat ray.

Man, fun to think how that would never happen today. The media is just too spread out for something on that scale to ever occur again.

By "sick", DW means it was a wasteland of trash. I told a few of you how I wasted money on the Xbox version of Doom 3? Well I just spent $9 something on the shitty film adaption. Do you and your dollar a favor; don't watch it.

Well you can't really go into it expecting any Academy Awards Brash. Haha I think it's hilarious how it switches to a FPS viewpoint for parts of it. Not that I'm going to see it or anything but other people considering making movies off video games cough*universalcough*bungie are watching the results pretty closely.

Memoirs of a Geisha looks shit hot. Not even in a chick flick way, it just does. Makes the filmmaker part of me moist. I'll link it some time.
